Caroline's Story
I'm an executive coach who helps quiet, high-achieving professionals lead authentically without sacrificing impact.
With three decades of corporate experience, including eighteen years at Google where I ultimately served as Director of Program Management, I led large cross-functional teams and navigated organizational complexity. I burned out twice trying to prove myself, then discovered something unexpected: the qualities that made me successful as a quiet achiever, listening, thoughtfulness, authenticity, are actually my greatest leadership assets. Today, I help individuals and organizations unlock those same strengths to develop confident, authentic leaders who create impact without burning out.
As an ICF-certified Professional Certified Coach (PCC), a credential requiring 500+ hours of coaching experience, I've worked one-on-one with over 250 clients and facilitated leadership programs reaching more than 700 managers and leaders. I hold degrees from Stanford University in International Relations and Industrial Engineering, bringing a unique blend of analytical rigor and deeply human-centric leadership. I specialize in helping ambitious professionals anchor their leadership in their deepest values and stop choosing between being themselves and playing bigger.
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband Chris and our two sons. When I'm not coaching or writing, I can be found teaching yoga, hiking, reading, or exploring new foods and wines.

Beyond the bio
A few things that shape how I show up.
I'm a first-gen Korean-American who has lived and worked across three countries and built teams across many more. That cross-cultural lens shapes how I think about leadership, communication, and the ways culture quietly (and not so quietly) shapes workplace dynamics.
I serve on the Board of Directors of the Asian Women Coaching Collective, a nonprofit supporting Asian heritage women coaches in living and working with cultural authenticity.
